	Anne Bureau The first time I heard Barbershop Harmony I was hooked. This was June 1986. I met one of the members of the ScotianAires - the Dartmouth, NS chapter of Harmony Inc and the next thing I knew, she picked me up that evening and we were heading to her chorus rehearsal. I recognized immediately the love for the music, the fellowship, the excitement and the opportunity to grow. Most of my music training I now possess has come from Barbershop: I attended classes, workshop and coaching sessions; I was section leader and choreographer. I sang for 5 years in a quartet called Spectrum who eventually became 1993 International Quartet Champions with Harmony Inc. I tried my hand at directing a few years later. Since then I have directed a Harmony Inc chorus, 2 Sweet Adelines Choruses and 2 BHS choruses (formerly S.B.E.B.S.Q.S.A.). By day, I work as a sales executive for a major Canadian Manufacturer in food packaging. I live in Ambler with my husband Ig who is also an avid Barbershop singer and a member of the North Pennsmen Chapter. I was born into a family that loves singing, dancing and having fun.
