Annual Picnic Postponed

June 1, 2020

To Our Fellow Barbershoppers, Friends and Supporters:

For 34 wonderful years, you’ve honored the North Pennsmen with your presence and your voices at the Sellersville Songfest, our annual picnic.  Originally imagined to celebrate our first appearance in the Mid-Atlantic District Contest, the picnic has become a time to renew old friendships, eat hot dogs, drink beer (or birch beer) and, of course, sing!

Whether as a chorus or a quartet, we’ve entertained each other on our own terms, in the fun, relaxed environment of the Sellersville Firehouse Pavilion.  Given the memories we’ve created, the North Pennsmen deeply regret to announce that we must cancel the Songfest planned for June 16, 2020.

Restrictions related to COVID-19 keep us from hosting you now.  That said, we hope to see you again soon.  In fact, we’ll reschedule the picnic for September 2020 if conditions permit.

Look for an e-mail inviting you to the 35th annual Sellersville Songfest.  We don’t know when that will be, but it will be.

Sincerely,

Tom Newmyer
Picnic Chairman
